APAC Business Development Lead - Derive XYZ

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Business Development Lead for the APAC region to expand Derive’s footprint across Asia by connecting with traders, funds, market makers, and strategic partners.
You will be the front line for Derive in the region, growing liquidity, building partnerships, and representing the brand at key events and within trading networks.
Responsibilities
Identify and onboard institutional, prop, and high-volume traders to Derive’s onchain options platform
Build relationships with market makers, OTC desks, and family offices across Asia
bring taker flow onto the exchange by building relations with whales, miners, and funds
Collaborate with the growth, liquidity, and product teams to shape region-specific programs
Represent Derive at industry events, panels, and meetups in HK, SG, Korea, and beyond
Monitor and report regional trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments
Contribute to local community growth in Mandarin, Korean
Requirements
3+ years of experience in crypto trading, derivatives, or institutional BD
Strong network within APAC trading communities, CeFi or DeFi
Understanding of options, perps, or structured products (or willingness to learn fast)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Fluent in Mandarin, and proficient in English
Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-moving global team
Must have
Experience with crypto trading, and derivatives
Strong local presence or network in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Taiwan
